This Surface Mounted Gas Meter Box (complete with back plate and cover) is popular for use in conversions, or for when there is no cavity to build into and can be used as a replacement cover for a broken meter box when the back plate is removed.

This meter box is fully approved to National Grid Gas specifications and complies with the BS8499:2017 specification for domestic gas meter boxes and meter brackets.
